Intersections of LGBTQ Identities and Healthcare
This workshop will explore the intersection of LGBTQ identities and health care in both the personal and political sense. Participants will gain skills in self-advocacy and in navigating interactions with health professionals. Participants will also learn about the larger impact of identity on health through the social ecological model and share best practices in LGBTQ advocacy as it relates to health and health care.
