Michael Bronski

Michael Bronski is a Senior Lecturer in Women's and Gender Studies and Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College where he teaches courses on politics, film, culture, and theory. He is the author of the recently released "A Queer History of the United States" (Beacon , 2011) as well as the Lammy award winning "Pulp Friction: Uncovering the Golden Age of Gay Male Pulps" (St. Martin's Press, 2003) and "The Pleasure Principle: Sex, Backlash and the Struggle for Gay Freedom" (St. Martin's Press,1998.) He has been involved in Gay Liberation since 1969, and since that time, along with doing political organiziang has written on culture, sex, and politics for the LGBT and mainstream press. He lives in Cambridge MA.
